Why I’m carrying a towel today

I’m carrying a towel around with me today. It’s my fast drying, compact Tek Towel.
Why?
Because today is International Towel Day. Yes, I am a bit of a geek I suppose. Hell, I may even wear my bathrobe all day too, just for good measure.
I’m a fan of Douglas Adams works, not just HHGTTG. The Dirk Gently novels, and Last Chance To See, are excellent reading, in my opinion. Hell, my garage band is even called Slartibartfast.
Yes folks, it is kinda sad, but I can confirm that he was indeed carting around this towel today.
Now if only I’d known about this earlier….
1) How’d you convinve your band members to go with Slartibartfast for a name???
2) did you suck on the corners of the towel to absorb nutrients?
Levi - It wasn’t me who came up with the idea of Slartibartfast as the band name. It was Simon, but I liked it right away. No, sadly my towel has no nutrients soaked into the corners, but don’t tell anyone. I think I’ve got everyone thinking that I’m a hoopy frood, and I don’t want them thinking otherwise. You sass me?
