Creative Commons Plug-in for Microsoft Office
July 13th, 2006
Cool!
Microsoft have released a plug-in that introduces the ability to create a Creative Commons license in documents created in popular Microsoft applications. Get it (and a better explanation) right here.
Thanks to Professor Lessig for the link. Kudos to Microsoft also.
Man, I have started getting into the programing thing as of late, especially since I could get the express editions from microsoft. But I never thought Microsoft would dip their hands into the creative commons bucket… just shows, they are getting the hint that sharing actually helps business instead of hampering it… Thanks for the heads up.
P.s. Have you tried the public beta testing of Vista yet? It is not too bad. Just I can see that they got some ideas from other Os’s out there. It is available until the end of this month
